Understanding Our Daylily Plant Codes
Each daylily cultivar is labeled with a set of plant codes that describe its characteristics — including bloom time, height, foliage type, and more. These codes help gardeners quickly understand what to expect from a plant.
If you’re new to daylilies, don’t worry — you don’t need to know every code to choose a plant you’ll love. This guide is here as a helpful reference whenever you’re curious or want more detail.
